Spun-out of ConAgra in 2008, Gavilon is a leading agricultural and energy commodity management firm, providing critical supply, marketing, and logistics services to connect producers and consumers through its North American and global supply chain network. Gavilon focuses on distribution and merchandising of commodities in three primary markets, including grains and by-products, fertilizer, and energy. Through organic growth and acquisitions, the company became the third-largest agricultural commodity distribution system in the United States. In 2013, Gavilon was sold in a two-part sale to Marubeni Corporation and NGL Energy Partners.
