DreamWorks is a motion picture company that produces and develops films, television programming and video games. In late 2005, DreamWorks Studios was acquired by Viacom becoming an integral part of its content creation division, Paramount Pictures. Concurrently, Newlight Partners acquired a stake in the DreamWorks Studio’s film library, consisting of 59 movies made between 1997 and 2005.
